GOOD AT BADMINTON
Congratulations to Adeel Bhutta and Ashok
Khanal of "Team First" for winning the Comp Badminton Doubles title with a
2-0 win in the finals over Team Black. The Rec Title went to Tom Eaton and
Cesar Mendoza, who took out Goodminton 2-0 as well in the 18 team, two
division event held at the RWC.

NATCH TOPS GOLF SCRAMBLE
Congratulations to [NATCH]
for winning the 2 person golf scramble on Friday, June 6 at the Country Club
at Deer Run. NATCH finished with a score of seven under par. Also,
congratulations to [Chase
Bernstein] for the longest drive
and Jeremy Whittacker for his shot that was closest to the pin.
LIGHTNING DELAYS - PLEASE READ
The RWC Park is equipped with Thorguard
Lightning Prediction system, which alerts us when lightning is in the area.
As we all know, lightning is a dangerous and sometimes deadly fact of life
in the summer time in Central Florida. While we attempt to get games in as
best we can, communication is at the utmost importance during these delays.
Please call 407-823-0999 for the IM hotline for the most current status
of games. Always assume your game is on as scheduled unless that hotline
tells you otherwise. At times we may cancel only some of the games, however
in the interest of safety we may cancel the entire evening's outdoor
activities even if the weather "may" clear up later. During weather delays,
please stay indoors or in your vehicle and continue to call the weather
hotline. Thanks.

Congratulations to IM Grad Assistant Nick
Brigati, as he will be starting a new position at Ohio University as the
Assistant Director of Intramurals and Club Sports. Nick was a GA at UCF for
the past two years.

RWC PARK NOW OPEN
Need for your IM team to get into shape before
the season starts up? Then come out to the turf fields and practice
before games start! The park is open for free play Monday through
Thursday from 4 PM to 11 PM; Friday 4 PM to 7 PM; Saturday 11 AM to 6 PM and
Sunday noon to 10 PM. If you want to reserve a field for a practice

UCF OFFICIALS NAMED ALL-AMERICANS
Congratulations to Megan Carrigan and Scott
Berner. Both officials were recognized as All-Americans at the 2008
ACIS National Championship Basketball Tournament at North Carolina State
University. Megan worked the men's championship game while Scott
worked the women's final.
