ASCE AND DEVOS 10 EMERGE AS COED SOCCER CHAMPIONS
 In a night full of headers, injuries, and incredible scores two new soccer champions were crowned. ASCE and DPT battled it out in a high intensity game but in the end it came down to a close score of 4 to 2 allowing ASCE to claim their first Intramural Championship in the recreational division. The comp game showed the world that Devos 10 came to play. Arielle Orr brought her team to a two point lead with her bulls eye shot from outside the arc and with that momentum Devos 10 clinched their title and went on to win the game 4 to 1.

SOCCER BRACKETS RELEASED

The 2009 Summer Coed Soccer brackets have now been released. Remember that no team can add new players to their roster during the post-season tournament.

SOCCER CLUB/VARSITY REMINDER
Captains - A strong reminder that individuals that appeared on the roster in Fall 08 - Spring 09 for the UCF Men's and Women's Soccer Clubs and Varsity Soccer teams are not eligible for Intramural Coed Soccer this summer. Several teams have already been forfeited and removed from the league. Please check with each member of your roster to ensure their eligibility.

ELIGIBILITY

Captains make sure that your players are eligible. You may come see me or e-mail me nsantiag@mail.ucf.edu to cross reference any players that you think may not be eligible.

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION

  • Students that are enrolled in Spring 2009 and are registered for Fall 2009 but not taking any summer classes can pay $50 to use RWC and play IM.

  • Students that are taking Summer B classes but not Summer A must pay the $50 if they want to play during Summer A. They will be refunded the $50 if they enroll in Summer B. If they have already paid for Summer B classes, then they do not need to pay.

  • Students that graduate in Spring 2009 may not pay $50 to play in the Summer unless they have been accepted into grad school at UCF.

  • Students from other universities that live in Orlando may pay $50 to use RWC but may NOT play IM sports.

  • Students that take Summer A classes can continue to play during Summer B even if they don't take Summer B classes.
